How to choose
- Choose official when WhatsApp is a main channel, or when a blocked number would hurt your business.
- Choose QR when you want to try KonekSip in minutes with the number you already use.
- You can mix them: one channel per number, each with its own connection type.
If you start with QR and move later
Connect the number with Facebook as an official channel. With coexistence you keep the WhatsApp Business app on the same number, and your recent chats and contacts are copied into the inbox once.
Template categories on an official number
A template belongs to one of three categories, and the price of a message follows its category: marketing for offers and promotions, utility for updates about an order or an account, and authentication for one-time codes. An authentication template is worded by WhatsApp and comes with a Copy code button; you send it through the API with the code. WhatsApp makes the final choice of category.
Message costs on an official number
If you connect your own Meta account, Meta bills you directly. KonekSip does not charge for messages.
